For Coaches and team managers
Coaches work in the portal, not the admin screens. If somebody sent you an /admin link, that is for the tournament committee.
Sign in with your phone at qwahabedi.co.za/portal/login. No password.
If you have not been given the coach role yet, tell us on your Profile that you coach a team — somebody will phone you to check, and then you can register your club.
Register your club
Open My teams and register a team. You will be asked for:
- Team name — what people actually call you
- Category — Men's football, Netball, whichever you play in
- Coach or manager and a phone number, filled in from your account
- Where they are from — your village from the list
- Kit colours, so two sides in yellow can be sorted out beforehand
- Club badge — optional, shown beside your name on fixtures
You register the club once. It stays yours year after year; you do not create a new team every December.
Load your squad
On My teams, add each player: full name, date of birth, and a jersey number if you have them.
Where there is an age limit, players outside it are flagged for you before the organiser ever sees the entry, so you can sort it out first.
Your squad belongs to the year you are playing. Adding or dropping a player changes this year's team sheet only — last year's stays exactly as it was played.
Enter a tournament
On My teams, find the tournament and press Enter this team.
- Your entry goes to the committee. Nothing appears publicly yet
- They approve or decline it
- Once approved, your club appears on the tournament page with your badge, and your team sheet goes up
Watch the closing date. After entries close you cannot enter, and the committee cannot let you in late without reopening it for everybody.
My entries shows every tournament you have entered and whether it is waiting, accepted or declined.
On the day, and after
The committee posts fixtures and results — you do not enter scores. Your job is the squad and the entry.
Your team sheet is public once approved, so it is worth having names spelt properly and numbers right.
